Stephanie Joy Sweeney, DMD | CEO/Owner
Dr. Stephanie Joy Sweeney is thrilled to be back in her home state of Georgia bringing advanced training to her patients at Savannah Dental!
Dr. Sweeney graduated from the University of Georgia’s Honors College & received her dental degree from the Medical College of Georgia (now Georgia Regents University). She practiced in Savannah until 2011 when she had the opportunity to be a part of an advanced technology dental office in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. After 5 years, she moved back to Savannah in 2016 to start Savannah Dental.
Dr. Sweeney has a big heart & loves giving back to organizations that mean a lot to her. She is a part of the Historic Savannah Foundation, The Jewish Educational Alliance, Young Jewish Savannah, & enjoys participating in many philanthropic charity events & fundraisers, including hosting an annual Mardi Gras-themed golf event benefitting Oatland Island Wildlife Center.
Outside of the office, you can most likely find Dr. Sweeney on the water; surfing, kiteboarding, sailing, swimming, you name it! She also loves spending time with her friends & family & traveling all around the world.
Dr. Stephanie Joy Sweeney offers a wide range of both cosmetic & general services including, but not limited to, crowns, bridges, tooth-colored fillings, implant restoration, & veneers. Along with being a Platinum Invisalign provider & Digital Smile Design-certified, she has advanced training in laser dentistry & also frequently attends continuing education courses to broaden her skills for her patients.
Robert Redenz, DDS | Savannah
Dr. Robert Redenz is a Connecticut native. After studying in Germany, he moved to Virginia where he was a collegiate swimmer at Randolph-Macon College. He also attended dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Upon graduation, Dr. Redenz completed the Medical University of South Carolina's Advanced Education in General Dentistry program where he was chief resident and acquired advanced training in all aspects of dentistry - including surgery and implant placement and restorations.
Cosmetic dentistry and restorative dentistry are among Dr. Redenz's areas of expertise. His philosophy of patient care is a holistic approach to both diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Redenz provides aesthetically beautiful smile makeovers with a sense of perfectionism and great attention to detail. You can see many of his patients' photographs displayed throughout our Savannah office!
Dr. Redenz is a certified Invisalign provider, full mouth restoration dentist, is certified in laser dentistry, and has even received advanced training on airway dentistry. Additionally, he is also certified by American Academy of Facial Esthetics for Botox & dermal filler. Dr. Redenz is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association and American Dental Association.
Changing people's lives with a new and healthy smile, and forming relationships with patients is his favorite part of being a dentist.
When not creating healthy, happy smiles, Dr. Redenz enjoys traveling (40 countries and counting!), exercising, hiking, trying new restaurants and spending time with his fiancé. He also has the cutest mini dachshund puppy who you may see around the office from time to time!
Drew Fransoso, DMD | Richmond Hill
Drew Fransoso is a native Georgian who was born and raised in Evans, Georgia. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Georgia and a dental degree from the Dental College of Georgia. He enjoys working out with weights and also enjoys talking about weight training. His favorite activity involves spending time outside or traveling, being active, or being near water. As a college football fan, he always roots for his Georgia Bulldogs (Go Dawgs!). Additionally, he loves to read all kinds of books - recommendations are welcome! Providing top tier treatment to our amazing patients and developing lifelong relationships are two of the things that excite him about working at Savannah Dental.
John McLoughlin, DDS | Savannah
Dr. McLoughlin has been practicing Family, Implant and Cosmetic dentistry in his home town of Bay Shore on Long Island for over 30 years and is happy to bring his considerable experience to Savannah.
The combination of state of the art technology, a thirst for knowledge through extensive continuing education and a desire to provide the very best treatment for each patient has enabled Dr. McLoughlin to acquire a reputation as a compassionate and caring provider.
An avid outdoors man, Dr. McLoughlin enjoys spending time on his boat with his family, playing tennis & golf, swimming and hitting the gym with his buddies.
