Airway Therapy

Airway Therapy

Our team at Savannah Dental has taken extensive training in Airway Therapy that aims to develop the oral structures to allow better breathing. We are a Myobrace provider & also use therapies such as ALF (Advanced Lightweight Functionals) appliances, rapid palatal expanders, & Invisalign to guide the development of not just teeth, but the whole mouth.

60% of facial development is completed by age 6 & 90% by age 12. Proper breathing is crucial to children’s health & development as they grow. It is incredibly important to see a provider for guidance in ensuring these oral structures are developing properly. We are able to screen infants for lip & tongue ties, & can start treating children as young as 2 years old.
