About Dr. Sweeney
Stephanie Joy Sweeney, DMD, is thrilled to be back in her home state of Georgia bringing advanced training to her patients at Savannah Dental!
Dr. Sweeney graduated from the University of Georgia's Honors College & received her dental degree from the Medical College of Georgia (now Georgia Regents University). She practiced in Savannah until 2011 when she had the opportunity to be a part of an advanced technology dental office in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. After 5 years, she moved back to Savannah in 2016 to start Savannah Dental.
Dr. Sweeney has a big heart & loves giving back to organizations that mean a lot to her. She is a part of the Historic Savannah Foundation, The Jewish Educational Alliance, Young Jewish Savannah, & enjoys participating in many philanthropic charity events & fundraisers, including hosting an annual Mardi Gras-themed golf event benefitting Oatland Island Wildlife Center.
Outside of the office, you can most likely find Dr. Sweeney on the water; surfing, kiteboarding, sailing, swimming, you name it! She also loves spending time with her friends & family & traveling all around the world.
Dr. Stephanie Sweeney offers a wide range of both cosmetic & general services including, but not limited to, crowns, bridges, tooth-colored fillings, implant restoration, & veneers. She is also a Platinum Plus Invisalign provider & Digital Smile Design-certified. She is also always attending continuing education courses to broaden her skills for her patients.
